The author is George Mackay Brown, a dramatist and poet, "widely regarded as one of the great Scottish poets of the 20th century." Mackay was a convert to Catholicism and had a tough life. He died in 1996. Brigid choose the artwork. I've put the words below the poem. The very short video starts halfway through – Brigid first recited the words without the paintings.
