Just found this mention of Tim on the MSGVarsity website

It goes back to last June, summing up the Stepinac outdoor track season. His friend Liam Barry also gets a mention.

Archbishop Stepinac Track 2012 wrap-up

Tim Faranda won the freshman CHSAA Championship in the javelin and
placed 9th in the varsity events. Malcolm Major has been a tremendous
athlete on the football field and now his talents are overflowing onto
the track. Malcolm won gold at the freshman sectionals 100 meter race,
clocking in at 11.4. Liam Barry has taken interest in one of the most
difficult track events, the pole vault, and came in 6th place overall in
the freshman CHSAA clearing 10 feet.
