Tim squats 355 – and his season-ending track team get-together.

That’s 355 lbs. 20 more then his previous PR. He could have gone higher and wanted to try – but I wouldn’t let him. His knee injury set him way back on squatting, but now he’s back in the groove.

Here’s what one side of 355 looks like. That’s two 5’s, a 10, and three 45’s – and the same on the other side of course, plus the bar weighs 45.

And here’s what Tim’s track coach had to say about him, at the Stepinac track awards gathering yesterday. I had the camera sitting on the table – was mostly interested in the audio and didn’t want to be a distraction with the camera. Coach Mitchell had plenty of nice things to say about Tim
