We saw Dr. Weinstein (who did the surgery) on Friday. things are comingalong fine. he drained about 25 cc's of fluid from his knee, and will take out the staples this Wednesday.
It was the first time we (Tim and I) had seen the incision area, since the ace bandage covred the dressing since the surgery on the 6th. He now has a kind of linen sock covering his leg, underneath the brace. As long as he doesn't put weight on his knee, he can take the brace and sock off for a shower.
He has to go non-weight bearing and on crutches for about another five weeks. The Dr. said Tim should be back to his normal leg strength for sports in four to six months.
