9/11 service at Holy Name of Mary

The 10:45 Mass at Holy Name of Mary was a lovely service commemorating those who’d lost their lives on 9/11, or thereafter due to illness or injury from the attack. And there was additional Thanksgiving and remembrance for First Responders – police, fireman and EMS – with a nice contingent in attendance.

Our new pastor, Fr. Brian Brennan, gave a lovely homily.

Two pictures off my verizon phone – the altar with symbols of first responders in the foreground and a small crucifix made from metal from the World Trade Center. Then a shot outside of the short ceremony after Mass. You can’t see all the people – it was a very good turnout.

  1. Thanks for getting the altar shot.

  2. Copy and take it if you’d like!
