“Tom Wright answers Old Testament Questions about the historicity of Exodus”

NT Wright is an Anglican Bishop and very respected New Testament scholar, famous for his historical study of the Resurrection. So this question is not directly in his wheelhouse, but he gives a good general answer. Wikipedia has a good discussion of this also. Origins and Historicity. I think Wright’s view of Exodus is very much a mainstream view.
