The "personal ordinariate" initiative of Pope Benedict. Their priests will have to be ordained, since Anglican ordination is not recognized by the Catholic Church. In a sense, they will have their won Anglican "rite".

"The request means the 100 Anglican Church in America parishes will ask for group reception into the Catholic Church in a "personal ordinariate," a structure similar to dioceses for former Anglicans who become Catholic.

Churches under the personal ordinariate can retain their Anglican character and much of their liturgy and practices — including married priests — while being in communion with the Catholic Church."

    A thousand years from now priestly celibacy will be optional in the Roman Catholic Church, there may be a lady pope, Christians will celebrate the fact that the Holy Spirit can work through homosexual persons, the Body and Blood of Christ will not be withheld or used as a means of controlling the faithful.
    Right now, divided though it is, the Anglican Communion is the most progressive of the churches. The rabid Right Wing across the world is vehemently rejecting the future, with eyes turned backward–and the Anglicans are catching a poop-storm of hostility from the Right. Christ does not need me or you or anyone to maintain the truth of Creation that exists in all things. The future will come, and Christianity in all its manifestations will continue to grow and resemble Jesus more and more across each succeeding epoch.
    Birth pangs, brothers and sisters, birth pangs.
