Croton U12 baseball travel team are the summer champs

Wow. With an exciting 1-0 win Friday, Tim’s team won the playoffs in undefeated fashion. After only losing one game in league play, they got a bye in the first round and home field advantage throughout the tournament. It was a double elimination tournament, but they didn’t lose any games in the tournament.

Croton scored a run in the first inning on a delayed steal of home plate (thank you Zack) !! and that held up for the whole game.  

Tim’s team was really excellent across the board – there were no weak players. Good hitting, excellent pitching and – by little league standards – great defense.
