By defeating Wales in Cardiff, in a 17-15 nailbiter, Ireland went undefeated in the Six Nations tournament. They defeated France, Italy, England, Scotland, and then Wales. The last time they won the tournament was in 1985, when it was the Five Nations (no Italy). And the last time they went undefeated, for a Grand Slam, was in 1948.
Wales lead 6-0 at halftime. Here are the second half highlights, with Ireland scoring the only two tries of the match, and then the teams exchanging drop goals (and the lead, since Wales had added two more penalty kicks) in the last five minutes.
