Well, after leading 14-0, they lost to Bronxivlle 24-22. It turns out that if you get up by two touchdowns, you have to substitute out your first stringers, which I suppose makes sense at the 5th/6th grade level. So they are now 1-1.
Ossining really has a good program – they run three teams at the 5th/6th grade level, while most towns only run one. Tim’s team has about 20 players, while Bronxville had 35. So more Ossining players actually get to play, rather then sitting on the sideline.
Tim had another good game – he is very consistent. His jersey number was changed to 77 just for this game.
