Easter Day at the Gagnon’s

After 10:45 Mass (very crowded!) we went over to the Gagnon Estate for an Easter egg hunt and Easter dinner.

This is a bit of a tradition – we’ve gone to the Gagnon’s for quite a few Easter days. Two of the six Gagnon’s were not around – Monica is working in France, and Nate was visiting in England and in France.

But Philip was in from college and Kathleen is Joe’s age – freshman in HS. The eggs had been painted the day before, by Kathleen, Tim, and two of Tims cousins, Katherine and Luke.

Easter egg hunts at the Gagnon’s go something like this –

Here’s Joe, Damian, Kathleen’s friend Carolyn, and Kathleen

The Gagnon’s have a trampoline, and there’s no way Tim would have let the day go by without he two of us on it –

On to the food!

Tim, Philip, my mother, Jeanne Marie, and Brigid –

Philip likes his veggies –

For me, this is the great Easter desert! A coconut flake topped rabbit cake. I still remember when my mother made one – I was probably around kindergarten age. This one has had a good chunk taken out of him.

Thank you Gagnon crowd!
