Today we are going to the 10:45 Mass, and then over to the Gagnons to eat lots of food and drink a bit of wine.
I thought this was a cool picture. Tom Faranda’s Folly: "Apostles Peter and John hurry to the tomb on the morning of the Resurrection" Unfortunately it’s a little small – if I’d expanded it’s size on the posting it would have been too blurry.
I give myself about a C+ for Lenten observance. Here was the original plan. Tom Faranda’s Folly: Lent and Lenten reading I tried hard to use the Magnificat prayerbook, but only batted around 40%, since I kept losing misplacing the darn thing. But my special intention of praying for my two rotten kids lovely sons – I kept to that pretty well. Reading though, was disapointing. I did do the entire Dan Berrigan book (a collection of some of his essays, poems, homilies, etc), but only have gotten through about a third of "The Forgotten Man" (about the depression), and never opened either the Joan Andrews book (would have been a re-read), or Von Balthasar.
