Latest Read: Extracurricular Activities

This is the second installment of my friend Maggie Barbieri’s murder mystery/comedy/love story series about college professor and part-time sleuth Alison Bergeron. Here is my review of the first one – Tom Faranda’s Folly: Latest Read: "Murder 101"

In Extracurricular Activities there is more of just about everything; more dead mangled bodies, more suspects, more lascivious chit chat. There’s less of Alison fainting; but that’s a good thing.

It’s another breezy, fun read, and I confess that I was totally wrong about who the perps were. I won’t explain, since that would give things away, but I can say that if you like fast-reading entertainment in the mystery genre, you’ll enjoy this book.

I just finished it and I agree with your review of Extracurricular. There is also less hurling. In fact, there is no hurling this time. I’m glad Alison is feeling better.
There are more details to go around, which causes more curiosity for the next installment. Personally, I need to know more about Sister Callista and can’t wait to see how the sisters respond to potential demands that they CHANGE THEIR CURRICULUM. . . if indeed that is in the future.

Right. I forgot about the puking! All good points.
