Tim’s ankle, Joe’s math exam

Saw the orthopedist yesterday – appointment at 11AM, but saw him at 2PM, so pretty much a wasted day.

Tim has to stay on crutches with no weight bearing for another week. MRI is scheduled for Monday and then probably he’ll be using an aircast for awhile. Dr. Purcell did allow him to go swimming yesterday, and he should be able to do his cub scout rafting on the Delaware the weekend of June 23-24.

Joe thinks he did well on his exam. Tom Faranda’s Folly: Joe Faranda, math and Fordham Prep Finished it in a couple of hours, and then on review re-figured two problems and got them right (he thinks).  I asked him, “do you think you got a 100?” He said “maybe.” I rather doubt if he did, but at least all the pain over this past weekend may have paid off. My bet is that he got in the mid-80’s. We will see.

UPDATE – Joe arrived home today and said Mrs. Kwan told him he’d gotten a result “in the nineties”.
