Dr. visit and rituxin today

Saw Dr. Casper this morning prior to getting the rituxin. I’d never met him – he is covering for Dr. Mills. He is evidently the head physician for all the MSK satellite offices and usually practices out of NJ.

Anyway the blood results were "respectable". My hemoglobin was down a little, and I think some of my WBC readings were, but he said the key ones were "excellent." Also did a throat culture.

The rituxin IV, which takes a little less than three hours went fine, but I was awfully tired when I got home, and had some chills. I am pretty sure I have some low grade infection (throat?). My temperature later in the day was a little elevated but never over 99.8.

Perhaps a combination of rituxin and a small infection? I don’t know. And right now (9:15PM) I feel OK.
