Is that you then have trouble getting to sleep. I just spent from 9:30 to 10:30 in the gym and it’s great from the point of view of not too many people there. But now I’m not going to be able to get to sleep before 1:30 or 2. Not good. I only go to the gym in the evening if there’s no other option and today there was no other option.
But the gym sessions are going well. I am doing my same weight regimen, and the cardiovascular has almost caught up to what I was doing before chemotherapy. This week I will only miss one day in the gym.
Tonight I made some changes and did some dumbbell work, since I’ll only have dumbbells with me in Sloan Kettering. Some of my friends think the dumbbells-in-the-hospital-room is nuts. But I think as long as I am very careful and don’t do stupid things (like use them when I’m on analgesics) they will actually help me feel better and recover quicker.
We will see.
