New Zealand 23 – England 19

Looks like I got it just about right last evening on my prediction,  Tom Faranda’s Folly: Predicting New Zealand v. England match tomorrow  proving I know more about rugby than baseball  Tom Faranda’s Folly: Yankees – this year’s team of Destiny?

I listened to most of the match on BBC internet radio and it sounded like a doozy. England scored a try in the first three minutes off a lineout driving maul, but NZ led 13-10 at halftime. After a big build-up the All Blacks scored on a short drive five minutes into the second half and led 20-10.

New Zealand played the last 23 minutes with 14 men, as a total of three players were yellow carded! For a few minutes they were down to 13. Despite that, England couldn’t score a try.  Carter, the NZ flyhalf had a hand in both All Black tries. Here’s a link if you want more info.
