Tim, as junior at Stepinac – nine years ago. Makes benching 340 look easy peasy. His PR (personal record) in high school was 365 lbs.
And squatting 485. 17 years old.

And bonus – just re-discovered this video of Tim’s last javelin throw for STAC – which won the event in very wet weather. Good way to end your collegiate athletic career. Not great video but at least I got the run-up! I’m an old hand at watching Tim throw, and as soon as it was in the air I knew it was the winning throw. This was April, 2019
