AWEF is a group started in Croton 20 years ago to support educational opportunities for young women in Africa. Their website is here www.awef.org and “it addresses the educational needs of women attending secondary school and professional schools in Angola, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.” Current number of young women being supported – 126. We have been backers of AWEF since it’s beginning.
