My brother Jim sent me this picture in 2015. I just came across it again. The boy next to me – was a very good pitcher. My bad – his name is escaping. Two of my grammar school classmates, Ralph Mazzacone and Tom Fallacaro, are in the picture also. OFD stands for Ossining Fire Department, sponsor of the team. Babe Ruth League used to be the name for the league that comes after (age-wise) Little League.
FULL DISCLOSURE: I was not at all much of a baseball player.
