June 7th, 2014, at the age of 88. Jeanne Faranda had a 50+ year career as a nurse – one of the first to receive a BSN (from the College of Mt. St. Vincent in the Bronx). She had a huge variety of positions in her career – educator, public health, etc. Her MS was in Public Health.
And four sons! She thought that was pretty cool. At the end of her life, she was still grimacing and rolling her eyes at my jokes.
That’s me – mouth open. My Dad was in Korea when I was born; didn’t see me til I was near one year old.
