After an almost five year battle with pancreatic cancer, our parish pastor, Fr. Brian Brennan, died last Sunday morning. His funeral was this past Friday. An astonishing number of clergy, including three Bishops, concelebrated his funeral. There were about 14 clergy on the altar, many of whom were not expected. The theme was "The Good Shepherd". The funeral was taped, and I've started the youtube tape near the very end of the service, as the chief celebrant, Bishop Farrell, gave a wonderful short summation and tribute to Fr. Brennan and our parish. And some pictures below if you scroll down – unfortunately I was unable to get any pictures of the congregation.
And these were scanned off photos at the wake Thursday.

the theme of the funeral was A Good Shepherd.
Thank you so much for posting all this Tom! The services were so beautiful! The name of the third bishop in attendance was Bishop Colacicco. He was not mentioned in the program. Seeing all the priests and bishops on the alter and thinking about all the knowledge, training and years studying and teaching the faith was very impressive.
Everything said was very beautiful. I feel blessed to have been able to attend both the wake and funeral. A giant has entered into eternity. May Fr. Brennan Rest In Peace. Thanks again for posting this!
