So I'll be doing a write-in. Not sure who yet. Maybe Dennis? Or Regina? Or Jessica? Or one of the Maria's? Or the mighty "Sweat"?

This is unfortunate to read. Molinaro would probably get more voters with a more pro life stance. It’s surprising to read his stance is the same as Cuomo’s. I will probably vote for him hoping to give anyone eles a real shot against Cuomo who is so corrupt and is currently attacking pregnancy rescource centers and running a “know your options” campaign in the buroghs promoting abortion. I doubt Molinaro would go that far. For that reason I lean towards him. Or you could just write me in and if I win I would be 100% prolife and pro pregnancy rescource centers for NY!

Also, it’s very important to note that the Second Amendment is under attack in NY and especially in Westchester. Right now no regular citizen can access a practical everyday use conceal carry permit for a pistol or revolver. Clearly criminals have the advantage because of the laws. They don’t follow laws and honest citizens do. They know a vast majority of people aren’t carrying in Westchester. When seconds count you should have the ability to defend yourself and save others’ lives. Our Founding Fathers believed in a free country you have the freedom to defend yourself. They didn’t want us to live in a police state. It’s that simple. If a person gos through the checks and is trained by a professional to carry concealed, many dangerous people would think twice since they would know people can and will fight back. They want easy defenseless targets and that’s what our current county laws turn us into. A vote for Molinaro will give some very important protectionss to our 1st and 2nd Amendment rights which is critical for our freedom and we should elects those who understands why they exist and their importance.

Jessica I was going to write in Theresa Bonopartis, but now that you’ve thrown your hat in the ring, I’ll write you in! My opinion is that it’s important NOT to vote for people like Molinaro on a theory that we may be able to work with him – because it’s more likely to have the opposite effect. He and his ilk will just figure to get our votes while throwing a whiff of the vaguest bone in our direction.

I kinda like the Great and Mighty Sweat idea.
I’m sure he’ll be pleased to hear it. -
Tom, you make a really good point. I’m going to have consider my vote carefully. I can’t bring myself to vote for someone who is pro-abortion. It’s a number 1 issue for me. I’m still surprised to read Molinaro’s position. I don’t even see a subtle nuance. Is there any? I’m surprised he would want to strengthen the abortion laws. I thought he was against adding late term to NY. So disappointing New Yorkers don’t truly have a choice on the ballot.
