Elderflower liqueur is a sweet, floral liqueur which is available everywhere. There are many, many recipes for this – including substituting sparkling wine for tonic. Here’s a 25 second video with one recipe and Farandaville recipe is below.
Farandaville
2 oz dry gin (or 1 1/2 oz)
1/2 oz Elderflower (or 1/4 oz; or 3/4 oz!)
1/4 oz lemon juice (or lime…)
Pour over ice in glass of your choice
Add 3-4 oz tonic. You may want to put this in first and then add the other ingredients
Gently stir.
Try different variations to suit your own palate!
