Friday cocktail – The Shamrock, from St. Patrick’s Day

Yes this is what we had on St. Patrick’s Day – picture and recipe below the video. And it was good – four thumbs up.

Anders is offering some interesting commentary but if you want to avoid much of it just go to minute 4.

Farandaville recipe – proportions the same as the video. But whisky and vermouth are different brands.

1.5 oz. Jameson Irish Whisky

1.5 oz. Noilly Prat dry vermouth

1/4 oz Green Chartreuse

1/8 oz Creme de Menthe

Stirred with ice and poured into Nick & Nora glasses. nice and mellow. Maybe even less Creme de Menthe next time we make it.
