Farandavillle recipe
Nice drink! Three out of four in Farandaville favored it – the thumbs down said “didn’t hit the right flavor profile.” But I liked it – very balanced.
We did not use fresh orange of fresh lemon juice – I’m sure it would have been even nicer.
2 oz. Rittenhouse 100 rye whiskey (Rittenouse is 100 proof; I’m sure it will work with an 80 proof whiskey).
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz orange juice
1/2 oz Grenadine – We use Liber & Co Grenadine which is very good.
Put the contents in a shaker, and shake for 20-30 seconds and pour. We did put ours on a medium rock of ice in the glass.
