A Faranda favorite – especially considering the miracle that lead to her canonization.
The boys name is Jake Finkbonner and when he was three years old he got a small cut on his lip, fell on a basketball court. Horrendous flesh eating bacteria, massive infection – the physicians had decided to ask the family about him as an organ donor.
“Funny coincidences” – the family is part native American, a sister named Sister Kateri, brought a relic to Jake and put it on him, and Kateri Tekawitha guilds around the country were praying for him. He started to recover from the time the relic was placed on him.
