I couldn’t bear to post a cocktail on 9/11. There are other recipes (labeled Negroni Svegliato) but this is the easiest and it’s good. Presented in the first three minutes of the video.
Farandaville – virtually same as above
1 oz. Bombay Sapphire Gin
3/4 oz. Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur (don’t use a sweeter coffee liqueur)
3/4 oz. Compari – or Aperol if you want a little less of the Compari bitterness. Which is better is a split decision in my house. Try Compari first.
1/4 oz. Cocchi Torino red vermouth (or any sweet vermouth)
Mix with ice in a stirring glass, pour into glass and drink neat or over ice.
