Realized over the weekend that this was coming up. Well, I started this to document my lymphoma treatment, way back in September, 2005. So about 1,000 postings a year – averaging 2-3 per day.
Here are the first month's postings, a grand total of ten:
Here's the very first one on September 8th, 2005 –
And he's one a couple of weeks later, as I discuss pending hair loss with then 8 year old Tim –
Pending hair loss and bathroom repartee with #2 son
And within a month – on October 2nd – I posted about my brother Paul, after a lifetime of illness – his sudden death at age 47.
I've had just over 350,000 page views (one way of counting visits to the webblog) – just under 100 a day. Plus an unknown number of people who've seen my postings on Facebook. And 3,517 comments left. I'm sure I've received at least that many emails re: my posts.
Anyway, it's been a slice and since nowadays I hardly ever post about my health – it's mostly articles and youtube videos that take very little time – there's no reason to stop. It really is a kind of diary of my life. Oh, and that picture of me in the corner of the weblog is ten year old. Won't be changing it!
50,000 more!
wow, that went fast! Here’s to decades more Folly!
If you do 50,000 more, can you start to increase the font size. Thanks.
You mean I need an alternate, large print edition?
Some of the time it’s been fun for me to read, others sad. Others no comment! Keep it going. I don’t know who said larger font, but I agree. Remember our age!!!!!!!!
Ellen
Keep it going!
