OK, Alex is June and Andrew’s son, Pru Powell’s younger brother. Part of Brigid’s connection to the Dent Australian contingent, as June is Brigid’s niece (brother Neville and Gerry’s daughter – got that?). June has visited us several times, both with and without Andrew, and Pru was here last September and went up Sugarloaf Mountain, north of Cold Spring, with me.

So – Alex arrived last Saturday on a long-planned visit. Brigid and June are still in England, after the sudden and shocking death of Brigid’s sister (June’s Aunt) Kate. On Monday the 28th the weather was good, so I took Alex up to Sugarloaf. I must say, it’s tough to give away 42 years to a 20 year old, who played wing in rugby and does “Tough Mudder” races. I couldn’t keep up.
Anyway, here he is – and I do love the Sugarloaf hike and view.

We had dinner tonight at Memphis Mae’s in Croton. Alex will go to Tim’s track meet tomorrow, before flying out to York tomorrow night, where he’ll meet up with Brigid and June.
Super pictures. Thanks
Thanks for taking such good care of Alex Faranda boys! He’s now in UK looking healthy and happy – loved his time in NY with you all. Time to send Joe and Tim off to OZ so we can show them around down under. I’m sure Andrew and Alex can teach them how to surf in Byron Bay..
June, any time – loved having Alex.
