Brigid and I were fortunate enough to be invited to the wedding of Lee Anderson, the daughter of our good friends Bob and Judy Anderson (Judy gets mentioned a lot on this weblog, since she also works for with me).
Here’s Lee and Tony (who works for the City of Cambridge) escaping from St. Ignatius Church on the campus of Boston College, where Tony went to school –

Brigid and Judy

Tom and Brigid – it’s hard to look bad in black tie, but I manage it. Each table at the reception was labelled for either a Boston Red Sox or Yankee legend (Lee pro-Yanks, Tony for the Sox!). We were at the “Steinbrenner” table.

…and friends

And here are a few BONUS shots from Judy’s camera –
The presider is Fr. Jack Rathschmidt, a Capuchin Franciscan now stationed in Boston, who served for many years in our parish as a Sunday associate, and who is a wonderful homilist. Brigid and I had a nice chat with him at the reception.

Here’s Mike Anderson, Lee’s brother

And Megan and Debra, the two sisters

See any resemblance?

How about here?

Bob and Judy at the Boston Italian Festival the day after the wedding – note Judy’s Sophia Loren shades

We loved being part of Lee and Tony’s wedding and actually made a long weekend of it, bringing Joe and Tim up for their first visit to Boston. Will have an additional post in a day or two about the rest of our trip.
