Easter at the Gagnon’s

After the very crowded 10:45 Mass this morning, we spent most of the rest of today with Damian and Jeanne Marie Gagnon.  As well as two of their four children, Philip (plus Philip’s friend Sarah) and Kathleen, and my mother.

With the exception of last Easter, we’ve spent the prior several Easter’s at their house, which is about ten minutes away.

The day starts with an Easter Egg hunt. To make things fair, in light of Tim’s being on crutches with a broken ankle, Joe and Kathleen had their leg tied up and also had to use crutches.

But after awhile, since Tim was doing really well in egg hunting! – the handicaps came off –

Then the main event – a gigantic meal. That’s lamb under the aluminum foil – cooked on the barbecue by Damian.

That’s Damien carvin’ the ham, and Philip, Sarah, and half my mother on the right.

Here’s Tom in Heaven. Two Gagnon women and an excellent cabernet!

Here’s the dessert table. If you look closely you can see the white rabbit cake that Kathleen made and is doling out. And that I liked a lot!
