Rituxin therapy starts tomorrow

Tomorrow morning I will be seeing Dr. Caron, and then have my 3 hour or so IV Rituxin treatment. This will be at the Sloan Kettering satellite office in Sleepy Hollow – next to Phelps hospital.

The interesting thing will be: how’s my white blood count. I had the shot of Neulasta two weeks ago, so there may still be some residual effect from it, raising my cell count.

I am currently on no meds whatsoever. The prescription for the antibiotic Mepron ran out a few days ago, at the end of the six month post-chemotherapy mark. The antibiotic was for prophylactic reasons only, so I don’t think they will want to renew it.

Gym is going well. I only went five days this week, rather then six, because of work pressure.
