Today is the 30th day after my discharge. My progress in getting over the general tiredness seems to have hit a plateau in the last four or five days with no noticeable improvement.
I did have my first drink in a long while Saturday night at a small birthday party gathering. A glass of champagne (Moet de Chandon) and a Heineken! I am also keeping up the walking, and using the dumbbells in the basement.
I plan on writing a little something on my long term outlook vis a vis the lymphoma. And the outlook is, of course, guarded. This is because, despite five months of clobbering with chemotherpy, the lymphoma is in only remission. It has probably not been eradicated. Remission is good; eradication is better. But I will save that commentary for a few days.
