I posted the classic Hunter cocktail last Friday. It’s good and easy (two ingredients) to make. Go here if you want to see it.
So here is the modern or contemporary version, also shown by Anders as he continues from where I stopped the above video. Our recipe – same as the video – and I do prefer this one to the classic. It’s a very balanced cocktail.
Farandaville recipe. (Same as above).
2 and half ounces of bourbon (Jim Beam works fine).
1/2 oz Heering liqueur (available in most any liquor store).
1/4 Luxardo Maraschino liqueur (also easily available).
Three dashes orange bitters.
Stir with ice in a mixing glass and pour.
Not shown in the photo – we both added a small chunk of ice.
